1. Necessary storage (no consent needed)
This storage is needed for the site to work and is not used to track you:
- Sign-in session cookie: keeps you signed in and the account secure.
- Language cookie (hainaner_locale): remembers your English or Chinese choice.
- Your cookie choice (hainaner_analytics_consent and the local-storage entry of the same name): remembers what you chose about statistics.
- Booking draft (local storage): so you do not lose what you typed while signing in or verifying your email, it is kept briefly in your browser and cleared after use or expiry.
- Pass device identifier (local storage, only if you use the Pass): used to verify the device that shows the Pass.
2. Statistics (needs your consent)
Only if you choose “Accept” in Cookie preferences do we create an anonymous visitor and session identifier in your browser and record events such as page views and booking started, to improve content. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies and do not sell this data to ad platforms.
3. How to control it
We ask for your choice on your first visit. You can change it at any time with “Cookie preferences” in the footer; choosing “Reject” deletes the statistics identifiers. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser, but you may then be unable to sign in or book.
4. Third-party content
Embedded third-party content such as video does not load its tracking scripts until you press play.
